Upon hearing I’ve been having a tough time recently, the lovely people at Bodhi kindly sent me a pot of their gorgeous Mint Thé Temple Balm* (£15.00) to help soothe away the tension, aches and pains. The balm is made from a unique blend of peppermint, spearmint and rosemary essential oils to rejuvenate the body and mind, leaving the senses revived and energised. I’ve been suffering with a lot of tension headaches and muscular pains around my chest following an illness so I was really excited to give this a go.
The Mint Thé Temple Balm comes beautifully packaged in a box tied with a little ribbon, the balm itself in a cute little black pot. The product smells gorgeous, it’s a vibrant mint that smells just delicious. This balm is great too as it has so many uses, it’s great for tension headaches, muscular aches and pains, travel sickness and minor skin irritations, such as insect bites. I’m especially keen on Bodhi as their range is inspired by traditional remedies and contain ingredients that are ethically sourced from sustainable origins.
One the worst times for me is night time, I struggle to sleep and often feel tense and worried at night, so before bed I applied a little of the product to each temple and a tiny amount on my chest. When applied the balm melts into the skin giving an instant cooling sensation, the mix of the gorgeous scent and cooling sensation is so therapeutic. I have also used the product on my wrists at work as an instant pick-me-up. It’s so versatile.
I would highly recommend the Mint Thé Balm, it’s a great natural way to relieve stresses and strains without the need for painkillers and chemicals. I will certainly be using it a lot from now.
