On Monday I was invited to the Beauty Shed in Hove for a Bloggers Pamper Party, talk about the perfect way to start the week! The beautiful little spa is nestled away on a residential road in Hove, a real hidden gem. With quaint, homely decor, scented candles and amazingly friendly staff its such a relaxing environment from the moment you step in off the street.
We were greeted with the most delicious Champagne smoothie cocktails, nibbles and left to mingle the spa as the staff prepared our treatments. We then were pampered with the lovely treatments they offer in the beautiful treatment rooms. I opted for an OPI manicure as shock horror I hadn’t had a proper manicure before. The treatment itself was lovely and so relaxing. As well as painting my nails with OPI – Miami Beach, I had a relaxing hand massage, I really enjoyed the experience, – I need to treat myself more often! Other treatments on offer are eyebrow shaping, facials and spray tans – I’m tempted just just work my way through the list for my next visit 🙂
After our lovely treatments and feeling rejuvenated we headed downstairs to the cafe where we were treated to some really lovely home cooked food. I opted for the Spicy Pumpkin Soup and had a cheese toasty on the side, delicious! The other girls all had the Slow Cooked Chilli, that looked amazing too, if only I wasn’t a veggie 😉 The best part about the food was the homemade cakes. I had a salted caramel slice which was phenomenal! A great way to end the spa experience.
Before we left we were treated to a canvas bag full of treats for us to try at home, this featured day and night creams from Green & Spring, Hungary Mud and a beautiful homemade body scrub that smells good enough to eat. The overall experience was so lovely, a real treat for the mind, body and spirit. I just can’t wait to return to the Beauty Shed.
