Ollie & Nic – the cutest bag shop in Brighton

This week I was so excited to take part in celebrating Barclaycard’s Freedom Rewards new scheme. They are currently running a campaign to champion small businesses, instead of the big chains who would usually get all the limelight. To celebrate, they kindly treated me to a £50 voucher to spend at an independent retailer of my choice, and in return asked me to blog about my experience and chosen store.
After much deliberation (Brighton is packed to the rafters with quirky and amazing independent shops) I chose Ollie & Nic, an eclectic handbag and accessories boutique nestled in the South Laines. I’ve always loved their designs and and lust over their bags frequently. The store is just beautiful too! They stock everything from handbags to cute totes, purses and wallets, jewellery and accessories too. It’s like entering a treasure trove of gorgeousness, with almost too many lovely things to chose just one…  I could happily own their whole range and never get bored.
Ollie & Nic items are for anyone with a love for colours and eclectic styles. Their  aim is to “combine style and attention to detail, combined with practicality”. This is a perfect balance for me, something interesting, in a gorgeous colour where I can organise the million and one things I carry around with me on a daily basis!
I chose to spend my voucher on the gorgeous Hugo Satchel in Aubergine (£70.00). I’d had my eye on this bad boy for a little while now, as I blogged about here, so he had to be the one!
Isn’t the lining so gorgeous? The bag is so spacious too, I can fit everything I need in and more and with three large sections things and a few little pockets don’t tend to get lost either. The satchel is a high quality feel and I reckon it’ll last for years. I’m so happy with my purchase! With lovely and friendly staff too, it was lovely store I’m pleased to have spent my voucher in.
A big thank you to Barclaycard Freedom Rewards and Ollie & Nic for letting me take part and celebrate with you! 🙂
