Packing for Peru!

Peru Wishist
Bit of a different collection from me today! Usually I would be talking fashion and beauty products, but right now I’m trying… and I say trying to think about practical and functional things I need to buy to take with me on my trip of a lifetime to Peru in April. Naturally, I’ve picked out some girly colours, like matching walking boots and rucksack with pink detailing from Blacks as you will never get me to pick something completely sensible! Looking around I’m actually quite pleased a lot of the products come in girly colours and are not to plain. It’s going to get chilly at night so I’ve picked a Women’s jacket from Jacksons of Old Arley and a Polar Chute by Peter Storm, which is made from microfleece and super soft and warm. Essentials on the trip will be a new camera, I would love a Canon SLR, but realistically I’ll probably take a digital camera as I have so much to buy (a girl can dream…). A Lonely Planet guide is essential for getting off the beaten track and learning all the local secrets, I also love to read about the history of a place as I travel through. We have lots of time on buses and planes so a lot of reading a studying will be done. The first morning of the Inca trail is an early one, so I’m going to need this sexy headtorch! Lastly, as you can never take the glamour from the girl, a waterproof mascara fit for all conditions is essential. Even when trekking I would never go without mascara, although I have accepted the rest of my make up bag will have to go!
