Review: Anti-Ageing exfoliating pads by Radical Skincare

As I’m now into my late twenties, I have to confess I’ve started on the anti-ageing bandwagon and am always a bit excited when I get to try out a new product on the quest to keep my youthful skin. I was recently asked to try these Age-Defying Exfoliating Pads by Radical Skincare* and couldn’t wait to give them a go.
“Removing dull, dead skin becomes your first anti-aging gesture” – Radical Skincare

The Age Defying Exfoliating Pads aim to remove dead skin cells, containing a multi-fruit acid based formula of AHA and BHA which exfoliate and remove dead skin cells. This works with the skin to tighten and firm, reduce pore size and lines whilst preserving skin’s hydration and nourishment.
Each pad is pre-moistened and to be used once nightly after cleansing by sweeping around the face and décolleté.
My skin is combination, so I was interested to see how these worked for me. I have been using the pads for around a month now and have been quite impressed with how well they balance my skin out. The pads themselves are soft on the skin and not too scratchy, however you can feel the active ingredients and multi-fruit acid formula tightening the skin upon usage with a gentle tingling feeling. This said, they do not dry the skin out at all, after using the pads my skin felt soft, nourished and lightly polished.  Having removed the dead cells I could see my skin was visibly brighter and more radiant, they also helped to control my oily t-zone and have a refreshing cooling feel to the skin.
As for the anti-ageing properties, I wonder if the results would be greater on slightly maturer skin as I found there wasn’t too much of a change, apart from feeling tighter around my forehead and cheeks.
Overall, I think this is a great product for all skin types for removing dead skin cells and adding a radiant glow to the skin, I have definitely seen results.
Radical Skincare Exfoliating pads can be purchased online, priced at £45 for 60 pads.
