One of the best things about being a Brighton blogger, is there is always something going on in town, we have such a lovely network of bloggers and are always meeting up to do something.
Last Saturday was a beautiful sunny day in Brighton, perfect for a mooch around the Laines and a catch up with friends, so a little group of us met for brunch at Bills.
I had put the word out on Twitter and was extra excited as we had two new Brighton bloggers joining us, the lovely Jess from GirlyCopyright and Allie from Living life in Docs. Both of them had tweeted beforehand saying they were nervous, so we tried to put them at ease straight away. I remembered my first Blogger meet back in April 2013, I felt sick to my stomach with nerves too, so I could really relate to how they felt!
Luckily we soon had a table and everyone was chatting away with ease. It seems to be a common thing with bloggers, we have such a lot in common so there is always something to talk about, whether it’s beauty products, web design, sponsored posts or just life in general… bloggers never run out of things to say!
After pondering over the menu for some time (there is way too much choice!) we finally ordered and burgers seemed to be the food of choice, I went for the Halloumi Burger with skinny fries, which was huge but delicious. The food at Bills is always amazing, plus the place always has such a great atmosphere too, it’s highly recommended if you ever get the chance to go. We chatted away for ages, getting to know one another and discussing our blogs. It was really lovely.
Overall, I really enjoyed catching up with the girls and meeting our two newest members to the Brighton Blogger gang, I hope they had a lovely time and enjoyed their first Blogger meet. Can’t wait for the next one!
