So, this week I finally moved house. Things didn’t really go to plan however I’m trying not to focus on that but start moving forward. All I will say is that when things go wrong you really learn who your friends are! I started off the week feeling pretty blue about things but that soon changed as the week went on and I started to feel positive again.
I had some absolutely AMAZING news mid-week that cheered me up no end, I was lucky enough to win the Curry’s PCWorld #PortableOffice competition for writing this blog post about where I blog. I won the new Microsoft Surface Pro 2 tablet, which arrived on Friday and is pretty darn amazing from playing with it so far. I’ve been busy setting it all up and seeing what it can do and as I don’t have WiFi I’ve been able to take it to the pub with me to blog – bonus!
Later in the week I attended the Brighton Blogger Trevor Sorbie event which wad really lovely too, great to catch up with my blogging friends and the salon put on s really great show with demonstrations of Spring trends and hair styling tips we can all use daily. My hair has faded badly so I’ll be popping in to Trevor Sorbie soon to get the team to fix my dull/slightly ginger locks. Can’t wait for a spot of pampering before I set off on my travels!
This weekend I’m mainly relaxing with my girlfriend and step dog after a tough week I really owe it to myself to just stop and make myself chill out. I’m also off to meet my new baby cousin Florence on Sunday too, can’t wait to meet the newest member of my family!
