As a huge fan of The Body Shop make-up, I was super excited to be asked to review these gorgeous Shimmer Cubes. Introducing ‘Hot Pink’ and ‘Spring Bronze’, two shades that are set to be bang on trend this season, for a fresh Springtime look. The first of the two is a lovely selection of pastel to bright pinks called ‘Hot Pink’, perfect for a pretty feminine ‘pink blossom‘ look, the other is ‘Spring Bronze’ – this is a neutrals selection, perfect for a range of looks from daytime to a sexy smokey eye.
The design really appeals to me, cute little cubes you can separate and pop into your make-up bag – no need to carry them all around. This is perfect as I love to change my look around and try different combinations and the last thing I want is a huge palette of eyeshadows in my handbag!

I absolutely love all of the shades, my favourite of the two being the ‘Spring Bronze’ palette. Each shade is so shimmery and iridescent, with a high pigment too, it makes blending so effortless. Another great factor is how crease-resistant they are – I’ve been wearing mine to work (and I’m in the hottest, stuffiest office you can imagine) and they don’t smudge at all. You can really get creative mixing and matching the shades together and creating different looks.
Shimmer Cubes are sold at £16.00 each either in store or online, there are 7 different cubes in the range. I love these, so I will definitely be purchasing some more soon!
