Earlier last week I went along to check out a brand new beauty studio called The Final Nail, which has recently opened in the North Laines, Brighton. This is a brand new studio, run by two young, enthusiastic fashionistas, Alex and Lily. The small studio is decorated with funky flamingo wallpaper, unique decorations and laid-back music to set the scene, and is a real hidden gem, tucked neatly under Porta on Bond Street.
I was booked in for a gel manicure and nail art with Alex. Now she is one talented lady with an impressive list of previous clients. All of her nail art creations are displayed on the wall to inspire but she will also take on a challenge of any design that takes your fancy, some are so intricate you can’t believe how she manages it! I chose a mint colour with white chevron, which (if Pinterest is correct) is quite on trend at the moment.
Whilst Alex worked away on my nails, we all sat and chatted over a cup of tea. The girls are so friendly, it’s like popping over to your friends for a cuppa and a chinwag, the studio has such a laid back atmosphere which I like as it put me at ease straight away and we had a good giggle too.
Ta Da! My nails all finished. I love this spring-time bright look and have had so many compliments so far. The gel has lasted so well and after a week it is still as perfect as the day it was applied.
The Final Nail also offers a huge amount of beauty and make-up services too, these include Eyelash Extensions, Brow tints, shaping, and ‘Bad Ass 3D Brows’ just to name a few. They also do make-up for weddings, special events and hen party pamper packages – their hen party nail art selection is hilarious, make sure you check it out if you pop in!
I would highly recommend The Final Nail, it’s such a trendy cute little place and Lily and Alex are so lovely too. I will be going back just before my travels for some more funky nail art – can’t wait!
