REVIEW: Beauty Gems from The Body Shop

The Body Shop Expert Brush Collection
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now, you will know I am a huge fan of The Body Shop, specifically their make-up range. I have quite a pale complexion and I find their products are in such complimentary shades and colours, I just cannot get enough – in fact I love them so much I think at the moment around 70% of my make-up collection is from The Body Shop! So to celebrate such an amazing make-up range, I wanted to put together a little collection of the ‘Beauty Gems’ in my make-up bag, or the items I just couldn’t live without.
The Body Shop Expert Brush Collection
First up is The Body Shop Expert Brush Kit. This little beauty includes a Blusher, Eyeshadow, Foundation, Face & Body and a Lipstick/Concealer Brush. All brushes are 100% cruelty-free and made from highly durable synthetic hair. Each one is designed for blending and creating a flawless finish, and let me tell you – they do just that! These brushes retail at £58.00 if you purchase each brush separately, however for the Expert Brush set you pay just £30, so buying the set is great value too. I’m ashamed to say I was a bit of a brush-newbie not so long ago, so I found their guide on application and tutorials really handy too. Now I wouldn’t be without my brushes and use this set daily.

The Body Shop All-in-One BB Cream

I reviewed the The Body Shop All-in-One BB Cream over a year ago now and it’s still my go-to product for my daily make-up look! I love it and am on my fourth tube now. The BB cream is priced at £12.00 per tube and comes in a range of four shades to suit all skin tones, I use either 01 in the winter or 02 once I get a little summer glow. Feel free to read my review of the magical All-in-One BB Cream from last year to hear more.

The Body Shop Brow and Liner Kit
Lastly, a newer addition to my make-up bag is this handy little Brow and Liner Kit in Blonde/Auburn. This is an amazing in my book as I always struggle to find a shade to suit my super pale complexion and eyebrows, however this is just perfect for me! The handy double-ended brush is so delicate it allows me to fill and define my brows without making them look too dark or unnatural. Finally a product that works for me! As you can see from the picture, this is quite a light shade, but they do offer the same product in Brown/Brunette and Brown/Black. The Brow and Liner Kit retails at £10 and comes in a gorgeous silver packaging with inbuilt mirror.
I could really chat about The Body Shop make-up all day, but these are my current favourites!
Do you have a ‘beauty gem’ product you just keep returning to?
