A couple of weeks ago myself and Sophie travelled up to London for another of our blogger event adventures (they are becoming quite a regular thing now!). We were invited to Vogues Fashion Night Out, hosted by Superdry who were holding an event to mark the occasion at their flagship store on London’s Regent Street. The event was held in their brand new Premium area, where they invited a small group of bloggers to have the first sneak peek at their Premium range, be styled by MTV’s Lilah Parson’s and hear The Fireflies play a set, live in store.
Now, you need to be kind to me now, as I took some video at the event and I’ve made it into my very first Youtube! It’s not a vlog exactly as I wasn’t feeling brave enough to speak into camera (yet) but I hope it gives you more of a feel for the event than photos could alone (please do let me know what you think!)
I really enjoyed the event, I’m a big fan of Superdry and loved the new premium range. It is nothing like their usual clothes with bright colours and logo’s, they are smart, sophisticated and will be very popular I’m sure. I’ve got my eye on a couple of pieces already, my top priority being a new leather jacket. According to Lilah Parsons a leather jacket is essential this AW14 and the more worn and battered the better, she even put hers through the washing machine to give it a more worn look! They have some gorgeous leather jackets with unique embellishments that would be perfect this season. I also fell in love with a certain pair of black sparkly boots (which I’ve mentioned a few times now…!!) so will be picking these up on payday for sure.
For attending the event I was very kindly gifted a Vintage City Melton Mac which is gorgeous, fits perfectly and will be featuring in an Autumn outfit post shortly.
