BRIGHTON: Bloggers Night In at Queens Hair and Beauty

Last week myself and Paige Joyce, the owner of Queen Hair and Beauty held an evening of pampering, wine and a catch up for the Brighton blogger ladies. I had recently popped in for a cut and colour and got chatting to Paige about all things blogging and social media and the idea of hosting a blogger event was born. So, after a few weeks of meticulous planning, the event date was finally here and I nervously loaded all the boxes of products for the goody bags into the car and headed over to the venue to set up with the lovely Carrie as my sidekick for the evening.

The bloggers then arrived (phew!) all ready for an evening of pampering and wine. The amazing salon team spoilt us all with different treatments, ranging from blow-drys, up-do’s, curls, gel manicures and eyebrow threading. I had some gorgeous curls put into my hair and a glitzy purple/grey gel manicure with a sparkling silver feature nail on each hand, which looks very festive! We all chatted over glasses of wine and had a really fantastic time.

As well as being pampered for the evening, we also got to the chance to see these gorgeous beauty bags by Victoria Green, a local designer from Brighton with many years experience designing for High Street brands such as The White Company, John Lewis and M&S. She has now just launched her first solo range which are now on sale in Debenhams stores across the UK and I think you’ll agree, they are rather stylish. We were all kindly gifted a bag from the new range which will be fab for my weekend away to Berlin next week.

All in all, we had a lovely evening!
