Cozy Nights, Lazy Days #LoveAtFirstBite

Right now, all I want to do is hibernate. The weather is suddenly SO cold, the evenings are so dark and as my bump grows I am getting more and more tired (and grumpy). Everything in my being is telling me to stay at home, snuggle under a blanket and take shelter for the winter, so that is what I am going to do. I think my winter is going to be a very quiet one, no sparkly Christmas parties for me, I’m embracing Hygge and all of the comfort food I can manage!

So, as nights out are off the table, I’ve taken rather a shine to nights in. Last week I decided to hold a pizza date night for myself and V – as you know, we need to make the most of all the time we have together before baby comes! Plus, to make our evening in even better, I was sent a lovely little date-night package from Chicago Town so we could really make the most of the time and have some fun together too.

Included in our package was some vouchers for pizza (of course!), pizza ‘Slice Shades’ and this super cool Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 Polaroid camera. I literally squealed for delight as I opened the box as I have always wanted to own a Polaroid camera and the Instax range are super cute! (I’ve already been buying all the cute coloured replacement film on Amazon too! ) There is something so special about waiting for a picture to develop, rather than just seeing it on a screen – I love keeping a physical copy too, I don’t print my photos enough. I’m going to be using this LOADS over the coming year with bubba on the way.
