Violet is now on the cusp of 6 months so we’ve decided it’s time to start the weaning process onto solid foods and honestly I couldn’t be more excited! I’ve been really looking forward to this stage in her development as it’s been so fun to try new foods with her and watch her reactions.

Our Daily Routine – DITL of a Mum, Blogger, Dog Owner and Coffee Drinker
As a super nosey person, I LOVE ‘Day in the Life’ videos (or DITL for short!) – if you type that in on Youtube there are thousands, I could get lost watching them as no two days are the same for anyone! I was going to film one today but as I’ve been up since

Extravagant Baby Products Wishlist
I’m not really one for buying over-the-top extravagant items, especially for Violet as she is growing amazingly quickly and already is growing out of all of her clothes and toys! Some of her newborn clothes were worn once before they were too small – I wish we hadn’t bought her so much at the beginning

The importance of Skin to Skin #PureLove
That first skin to skin moment with your new baby is one of the most magical and intimate moments you’ll ever experience, a memory I’ll certainly treasure forever. Skin to Skin has been proven to promote bonding, encourage the first feed and to help regulate your baby’s heart rate, breathing and temperature, so it’s amazingly important

Babies and Sleep – it’s a big subject isn’t it? Maybe one of the most talked about in the parenting realm or at least level with the whole breast vs. bottle debate I’m sure. So, on the topic of sleep I recently wrote an article for Babycentre called ‘My newborn sleeps through the night, should
