The Body Shop’s Vitamin E range has been a staple of my skincare regime for a long time. I have loved the day cream for as long as I can remember, and often use the face mist for a freshen up during the day. The range is so gentle on my skin and I just love the classic scent, it’s never let me down.
I was super excited to see the Vitamin E collection has been extended this year with a new addition; the Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet (£10) which is due to be released on 16th July. The new Aqua Sorbet is the classic day cream with a twist. Designed for warmer weather, the Aqua Sorbet provides an instant cooling sensation and a boost of long lasting moisture. I was lucky enough to try the Sorbet before the release date and I can report – it’s just gorgeous. The texture is hard to describe, a cooling gel like formula, you can actually feel the little aqua spheres as you rub the sorbet into your skin. Each pot contains over 2 million of the little spheres that act like moisture ‘reserviors’ and provide a constant 24-hour moisture to the skin.
Along with the brand new Aqua Sorbet, I have been using the Vitamin E Gentle Face Wash. This gorgeous creamy cleanser has the consistency of Liz Earle’s Cleanse and Polish, but a snippet of the price at £8.00. It completely removes all my make-up, and is even gentle enough to use around my eyes. I cleanse with my e-cloth facial mitt for a gentle polish and the combination of the two leaves my skin feeling really clean and soft.
