Happy Sunday! 🎈 It's been a challenging week, o Happy Sunday! 🎈 It's been a challenging week, one poorly child, another HUGE head bump, two doctors visits, numerous work deadlines and various stresses - WHAT A WEEK 😫 The only thing l could think to do was to turn the hot tub into a huge rainbow balloon party to celebrate that we made it through and that tomorrow is a new week! And it's got to be better, right? 🤞🏻
p.s - swipe for the moment Dolly decided to launch at the balloons 🤣
ad | Dolly is a year old now and she has just slot ad | Dolly is a year old now and she has just slotted into our family perfectly - although I admit having a puppy and two kids has been beautiful chaos at times! 🤯 I am used to the muddy paw prints, the boisterous cuddle as she greets you at the door, the dog hairs on EVERYTHING, but one thing we don’t have to worry about is smelly dog breath 🥴

Dolly still has her sweet, puppy breath for those close up snuggles (and she LOVES to snuggle… she has no concept of personal space!) We keep this in check by looking after her teeth by giving her @purinauki Dentalife ActivFresh dog chews once a day. They are made with natural ingredients, designed to fight bad breath at its source - with honey and spirulina which helps to neutralise bad breath bacteria, rather than just cover it up. She adores them and gets excited just by seeing the packet!

Over the next couple of weeks, we will be telling you a lot more about @purinauki Dentalife ActivFresh and will be showing you how we incorporate them into Dolly’s routine to keep her breath as fresh as a daisy! 🌼

Do you have a dog? I’d love to know more about them! 🥰

Happy Sunday! Hasn't the weather been gorgeous? 🤩 although, of course on the day that we are meeting up outside with Dolly's brothers and sisters for the puppies birthday it's now howling wind and rain 🙄. I can't wait to meet them though! 🐶🐶🐶

We have had a fab few days though... I snuck in three sea swims, lunches on the beach and the girls discovered water pistol fights for the first time (hours of fun 😆😆)

I felt like working out in the heat was great Sahara practice too 🥵🥵

Have you been enjoying the sunshine? ☀️☀️☀️☀️
ONE! 🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOLLY! 🐶 This year ha ONE! 🎂 HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOLLY! 🐶

This year has been a chaotic rollercoaster with a puppy AND two small children, but we wouldn't have you any other way. I have adored getting to know your sweet natured, quirky personality - how you love drinking from the sink (or my bath water 🤣) you think you are still a lap dog, you are scared of lawnmowers and love the biggest cuddles. You hate wearing hats but can be convinced for peanut butter or ice cream 🤣

You've become such a loyal companion to all of the family, you are playful, sweet, funny and gentle with the kids. You've finally learned you musn't eat barbies (or their shoes) or the furniture (just).

You always lend a kind (soft) ear after a hard day and although you don't talk back I can tell you are intuitive to our moods and give the best love back, especially when someone needs a hug!

Happy birthday Dolly! ✨ I promise.... no more hats now. Well, until Christmas probably 🤣
When I think back to when I started creating conte When I think back to when I started creating content 10 years ago, I could never dream that one day this would be my full-time job. It's been a dream, although it's never as easy as people may think. I'm often swamped in deadlines, admin, editing and tight turnarounds..... beaten by Instagram algorithms, self-doubt and trolls, but I wouldn't change it for the world.

I don't know many jobs where you'll be asked to makeover the garden, pamper the dog, do a tiktok dance, try on some outfits or drive across the country for chocolates. We put Christmas decorations up before the rest of the world, have more Easter props than I care to think about, a charcuterie board is a regular favourite and if I fall over that damn ring light one more time I might throw it out the window.

Yet, after being in the industry over ten years people STILL me a confused look and say 'you post on Instagram..... for work? 🧐' thinking I must faff about taking pictures whilst I'm looking for a 'real' job. Well, it's about time those people got into the 21st century and learned that being a creative IS a real and very valid job. The tax man seems to think so anyway (🤪)

I love my work as it allows me to document my family, like my own personal scrapbook that I'll look at for years to come. It's my support network, my friends - you are like family. Last year I joined the @ChannelMum team and couldn't have been more welcomed as part of their family too. They ALWAYS have my back 💕

So this is my little ramble, just to say thank you and that I appreciate you for being here and allowing me to do what I do. Every like, comment or share goes a long way and means the world.

Sometimes you've just got to take that leap of faith.
Sometimes you have to do something that scares you.
Sometimes you've just got to follow your heart and do what's right for you. 💕

#AD | It’s officially #PrideMonth2022 and I’m #AD | It’s officially #PrideMonth2022 and I’m excited to finally be able to show you the brilliant Pride range available at @Georgeatasda this year - celebrating diversity and the LGBTQ+ community! 🌈

This year @georgeatasda are proudly supporting @diversityrm who are doing amazing work to help young people embrace and celebrate diversity. They have donated £100,000 which will help to create safe spaces where young people can explore difference and consider their role in creating a world where we all feel accepted. @diversityrm also provide student workshops with LGBT+ or ally role models who speak openly about their lived experiences which builds young people's empathy so they can understand the (often unintended) impact of their language and actions.

The @Georgeatasda Pride range is made to feel proud - with the bold recognisable Pride rainbow flag running across all designs, plus a few of our favourite characters like Mickey Mouse, Star Wars, Batman and Marvel too! 🙌🏻

There is something for all the family with an adult and kids ranges. My girls adore their Mickey Mouse tops and I loved my leopard print tee (you know I love a print!)

You can shop the range now - made to feel proud and support an amazing LGBTQ+ cause too.

Do you have any celebrations planned for Pride Month? 🌈

BANK HOLIDAY VIBES ✌🏻 Who else is loving the BANK HOLIDAY VIBES ✌🏻

Who else is loving the extra days off? Life has been so full-on recently - we just need to take a step back, to chill at home as a family. We don't have any grand plans or parties. We might just potter in the garden, put the paddling pool out or go for sea swim. Of course, as my feed is filled with beautiful jubilee celebrations I keep wondering if I should have planned something, but I think family time is all we need right now 🥰

What are your plans for the weekend? 👑 🇬🇧

We were kindly invited to the grand opening of the new Rainforest Adventure Rides and the girls were lucky enough to be one of the first to give them a whirl! 🙌🏻

#AD | Can you believe Pearl is off to school this #AD | Can you believe Pearl is off to school this September? I feel like this is such a transition time for us, no longer do we have a toddler but a little girl who is desperate to be one of the ‘big girls at school’. She’s already declared ‘I don’t need a buggy!’ and now she’s said she’s ready to declutter some of her baby toys too.

I’ve been giving her a hand by listing some of her toys on the @olio.app - it’s a fab little platform where you can list the things you no longer need for your neighbours to collect for free, meaning they go to someone local to you who will really love them! You can use it to list anything - from toys to clothing, household items and even food you no longer need.

I have really enjoyed listing things on the app as I’ve met a few local mums when they’ve come to collect items from our house - I love knowing Pearl’s old baby toys will be treasured and loved by another child (aww the memories! 🥰) plus it gives you such a great feeling to help the community too.

Are you like me and love a good declutter? ✨

Apart from no chips for me as I had my brace fitted today and it's starting to feel really sore 😖😂

How was your day? 💜
It’s #mentalhealthawarenessweek and I think it’s a really important time to talk as everyone has their own story to tell. I have always been an anxious, introverted person. My brain moves at 100mph 24/7. I overthink every single situation down to the finest details and I’m a TERRIBLE sleeper. Think the princess and the pea, although less princess and more Mum and the toddler crumbs.

That being said, I am in a much better place than ever - I still have my bad days, but I feel like I have got to a place where I really ‘get’ myself and what my triggers might be. This means I can avoid them before things take hold. The biggest game changer has been (and it’s hardly groundbreaking but has taken me 36 LONG years 🤣) is that since I’ve embraced who I really am, instead of who I think I *should* be, I am so much happier and I’ll work on that… forever!

So I wanted to share some of my game changers for my mental health:

✅ Embracing my full introverted self - goodbye FOMO, I’m more of a JOMO girl now! 🙌🏻

✅ OVERWHELM - as a mum I feel this a LOT, but I've learned to step in before things get too much.

✅ Loving my body - I’m not going to lie, this is a journey. I spent my 20’s HATING my body and living on diets, so I have some serious negativity to unravel. But my body birthed two children, it’s been through IVF & soon it’ll take me through the Sahara. There is a lot to love too.

✅ Being my own best friend and advocate - I spend a lot of time alone. I really love my own company, pottering about, thinking, having those silly ‘fake’ conversations in your head with people that don’t actually happen. You know the ones 🤣. I think this time has been really good for bonding with myself - I've learned to be my own advocate and speak to myself with the kindness I would a best friend. This hands down has made me a better, more understanding mother too.

✅ Lastly, I’ve learned not to take life too seriously! Life is just too short! Swipe for the second photo for proof of that 🤣 I love a tiktok dance, I fall over on the regular. It doesn’t bother me - it’s just another funny story for the bloopers reel of life!

I’d love to hear your stories
